MY ORIGINAL and FIRST PASTEL DRAWING.
Hi Friends,
As you may realize, I am trying a new artistic expression by creating a combination of pastel drawings, and including some of my poetical lines. I shall call them: "ART POEMS."
Actually, this one is my first pastel drawing. I love horses, animals, landscapes, and mother nature in all of its wondrous forms.
I know this is just the beginning, yet it is always wise to try new things...
We -hubby and I- often try to keep our minds active by doing something worthwhile.
One day, when we travel back home to the States, and my hubby and I get a new camera
-in order to take good digital photos- we'll be able to take up courses in Photography of Nature. Then, we'll be ready to shoot lovely photos with proficiency, so that we'll be including our nature own photos with my poetical lines.
I shall call these things: "PHOTO POEMS." Unfortunately, all these are just plans or dreams for the future, but nothing is happening for real at this point. All I know is the fact that I shall be travelling back home to New York in 2013, if that is God's will. Anyway, I do not know the exact date about that.
I pray to the Lord for a better world for all of us.
I just can't sit there and do nothing about it...
I know I'll take a long while to draw something new to post it again...
Let's see what happens with this grandmom!...
Thank you, dear friends for sharing your time in viewing my posts and expressing your gentle thoughts about My New Creative Art Poems or Photo Poems!
Have a blessed time in the Lord with your loved ones, and peace be with you!

So how long does it take you to do this and do you have a picture you are copying or from memory?
Hi Sandie, dear friend,
Thank you so much for coming over for a visit and getting your interest in my sites!
Yes! I copy the image from another source. I do the drawing in black and white first, then I add pastel colours to bring the framework look alive.
About the time I take, well, I take a long time to finish one single piece, since this is actually the first time that I am doing Art Poems. A while ago, I tried to add a couple of poetic stanzas to lovely photos. Then, I thought it would be nice to draw something on my own to illustrate the background of my poems. I call these things either an ART POEM or a PHOTO POEM.
I always shape myself to keep my mind out of boredom. So, I keep myself active in some ways.
It's so nice to see you, Sandie, sweet dear friend. I am glad you appreciate my posts.
I'll be visiting you soon...
Warm Hugs,
Starry.
