"LONESOME GEORGE."

"LONESOME GEORGE."
He is the last one, the last turtle of his species in the world.
It is believed that he is 100 years old or so.
He lives in a small island in the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean, right off the shore of Ecuador, South America.
After Lonesome George dies, his species will become EXTINCTED.
Extinction is forever. So, we must protect our natural environment.

The Galapagos Islands are the most incredible museum of evolutionary changes. The Galapagos National Park is making great efforts to make Lonesome George a father and thus preserve his species.
